This policy covers the Nightshift public website and the pilot inquiry form. Nightshift is maintained by Thabhelo Duve. It does not describe the handling of student projects by a campus deployment; those arrangements need to be established with the participating institution before a pilot begins.
When you visit
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Delivering and protecting the site involves processing technical request information such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and request times. Cloudflare may retain service or security logs under its own policies. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.
The website’s own code does not set cookies or use advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts, or browser storage to track visitors. Hosting and security services may process information independently of that code.
When you ask about a pilot
The form asks for your name, college, role, email address, approximate lab size, and any message you choose to provide. It prepares an email in your own mail app and displays a copy on the page. It does not submit those fields to a website database or send the email automatically. You choose whether to send it.
If you send the email, its contents and sender details are delivered to thabhelo.duve@talladega.edu through the email services involved. They can be used to respond to your inquiry and discuss a potential pilot. Your mail app may also retain a draft or sent copy. Please do not include passwords, student records, or other sensitive information in the form.
Email records and service providers
Sent inquiries may remain in email accounts and provider backups. Retention depends on the email providers and applicable account policies; this website does not enforce an automatic deletion schedule for email. Hosting and email providers process information as part of delivering their services.
Your choices and questions
You can browse without completing the form, leave optional fields blank, or choose not to send the prepared email. To ask about information you have sent, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy question, email thabhelo.duve@talladega.edu. Available rights and any limits on deletion depend on applicable law and provider policies.
